Reflecting back on the year, I was able to complete a lot of faceups I’m proud of. Originally I was hoping to do a few more, but the summer weather was unusually pleasant and I couldn’t bear to stay cooped up inside painting. Since we had a few years in a row with unbearable heatwaves and wildfire smoke, I’ll give myself a pass to be a bit lazy this year.
