I know I’ve been remiss in introducing the latest member of my doll gang, it got overlooked in all the US Dolpa excitement. You might have seen her before in my Dolpa photos– the new girl in town, a tan DDP with DDH-22 head and M02 faceup.
She was the model for my Dolpa costume contest entry, although lately she’s starting to shift toward her intended devil-themed appearance.
Just wanted to take a few more photos to show off the cute Shige-kuma applique that I made. Got a lot of compliments at Dolpa, I’m proud of him!
Originally I was trying to sew a DDP-sized blouse and cardigan for Dolpa as well, but I only got as far as making these rough prototypes. They do make for cute room wear, though.
I’m thinking of borrowing a name from an old OC and calling her Desoleil, but I’m awful at sticking to names so it’s very much in ‘we’ll see’ territory at this point.
As for future plans, I’d like to style her to coordinate with my custom DDH-26 girl as a sort of minion/apprentice in evil. I sketched out an idea to try and sew during these long dark winter months. We’ll see how far it gets…
