~ A sign from the stars ~
Volks has really been hitting it out of the park with their recent resin releases, and I’ve tried my luck in a few of the lotteries. After missing out again and again, I resolved to just get SD Alto from the secondary market so I wouldn’t have to worry about prices going crazy after the lottery.
No regrets! He’s got a gorgeous faceup and the sculpt’s narrow eyes and gently parted lips are lovely and versatile. He arrived with the SD Boy body, which is nice and solid but has single-jointed knees and I suspect finding clothes for it will be difficult.
His outfit is well made with nice gold stars and embroidered details for an astrological theme. The shoes are just strange, not sure if it’s meant to mimic a historical style but they come off a bit clownish.
I tried a few different wigs for Alto and I think he could also work well as a girl with the default faceup. I’m excited to try some more styling options for him soon!
