As mentioned in my DDH-24 arrival post, my plan for the MDD one-piece body involved a custom DDH-27 head. And, now that custom head is complete!
I’ve been sketching out some more boyish doll concepts, and eventually settled on a ‘sand fox’ theme which is perfect for this boyish body. With this design in mind, I painted my SWS DDH-27 head to match.
I still need to work on eyes for them, but the overall result is pretty cute! This wig is from Dream Choice, and the outfit is made by Volks. The heart hands came from Canine Club on Taobao.
I used metallic paint for the face stripes and forehead design – nothing specific there, just an abstract shape that I thought looked cool. The colorful purple-pink eyelashes were fun to paint and matched to the wig nicely. And as you can see, they stole back the magnetic elf ears for this look.
The sand fox outfit has been added to my to-do list, I hope I can track down the materials and sew something similar later this year to complete the look!
