New Store and Acrylic Eyes

I’m happy to announce the launch of my new shop! http://jadepixel.storenvy.com/ Since I’ve started selling my custom made eyes more often, I realized I needed a better system to handle sales, pre-orders and custom designs. With the shopping cart system at Storenvy it should be easy to manage larger volumes of orders, as well as…

Cute Charlotte

Charlotte is borrowing eyes from my SD Anais and shoes from my Kikipop girl. She’ll have to give the eyes back but it’s a cute look ^_^ Wish I knew who made these pretty urethane eyes, they’re half-round like Enchanted Doll eyes but have a small stem on the back. They haven’t really yellowed but…

Volks SD Anais boy

My Anais boy arrived! At least, I’m pretty certain he’s Anais, but there’s no paperwork and the headplate indicates he’s a one-off. Holiday Lorina

Time to dress up for the holidays! Thanks to the forgiveness of velcro closures, Lorina can just manage to wear this candy striped DD dress I made. Her blouse is from the blue mille-feuille set. It’s hard to believe it’s only one year since she arrived! She’s been hanging out near my desk the whole…

DWC03 Girl Faceup

When I saw the DWC03 sculpt I thought it’d work great for a character of mine, so I decided to try my first Super Dollfie faceup. Now I wish I’d put more detail in the mouth, I may go back later and get it more in line with the usual SD style. It’s funny how…

Metallic print eyes

My latest eye experiment! These eyes are printed on metallic paper from Nations Photo Lab. They look great, especially the simple colorful designs like the red in center. I need to make the lens part slightly larger since the metallic paper isn’t flexible at all. The prints cost about $2 per 8×10 sheet which makes…
